Creatd, Inc. (OTC: CRTD), a diversified holding company committed to empowering creators and fostering innovation, is pleased to announce its 5% strategic equity investment in The Powerhouse LLC, the parent company of thehouseofarts.com and several influential ventures spanning art, fashion, and design. Aligned with Creatd’s acquisition strategy, this transaction will generate nearly $300,000 in net equity, strengthen the balance sheet, and enhance Creatd’s ability to leverage new revenue streams across its growing creative portfolio.
The Powerhouse LLC oversees thehouseofarts.com, an innovative art platform centered around The House of Arts fine arts gallery, a hub for cultural engagement and artistic expression. This platform also includes the House Lab, a program dedicated to supporting and promoting curated emerging artists both in person and online. The Miami-based physical location, a 10,000+ square foot indoor/outdoor compound, features The House Gallery, The Patio, and The Annex. This unique space will serve as the centerpiece for immersive art exhibitions and high-profile cultural events.
A significant aspect of this collaboration will involve leveraging the OG Collection, Creatd’s AI-driven archival asset that curates and monetizes historical and cultural media. The OG Collection will be integrated into The Powerhouse LLC’s projects, creating dynamic, interactive exhibitions that blend contemporary art with historically significant content. This fusion will provide audiences with a deeper, more enriched experience and offer creators new opportunities to monetize their work through a combination of physical and digital channels.
Additionally, Studio96, a content creation and technology company within Creatd’s portfolio, will play a pivotal role by transforming traditional art presentations into interactive, augmented-reality experiences. Studio96 will produce interactive art books and transmedia projects that connect the worlds of art, history, and technology, making the OG Collection a key feature of these offerings.
Jeremy Frommer, CEO and Chairman of Creatd, Inc., remarked, “Our investment in The Powerhouse marks another key step in our strategy. By integrating the OG Collection into interactive art initiatives and utilizing Studio96’s cutting-edge technology, we are redefining how art and culture can be experienced. We’re excited to offer creators a unique platform for expression and to present audiences with engaging, immersive experiences. We expect to continue to announce key transactions such as this in the near future.”
Sam Bernstein, President of The Powerhouse LLC, commented on the investment: “We’re thrilled to welcome Creatd as a strategic partner. This collaboration presents numerous opportunities for expansion, and we’re excited to tap into Creatd’s extensive network and community. We look forward to showcasing the OG Collection and collaborating with Studio96 to bring immersive and innovative experiences to life.”
The Powerhouse LLC’s additional ventures include De-Risk Agency LLC, established in 2019, which provides comprehensive fashion and accessory services, from factory production and shipping to logistics and sales for major clients such as Nordstrom, Saks, Macy’s, Francesca, Zumiez, and Meijer. Another key asset, gsahouse.com, is a consulting and creative agency bridging fashion and art since 2015, driving impactful projects that foster cross-industry collaborations.
These diversified assets align with The Powerhouse LLC’s mission to advance cultural innovation and amplify the impact of creators globally. The partnership with Creatd, complemented by the OG Collection and Studio96, is poised to reshape the landscape of art, fashion, and media, offering fresh monetization opportunities and expanding the reach of creative content.
